NewYorican - Puerto Rican Cuban Seed Wrapper - Currently Unavailable

The NewYorican is a Signature Hallmark blend in our collection for several reasons!

Created to celebrate the re-emergence of Premium wrapper leaf grown in Puerto Rico, an island known for producing Premium wrapper in the past. It has been many many years since the Central West Region of the island, known as Utuado, has produced such a fine tobacco leaf. The soil has rested and has been rejuvenated. 

Taste the special flavor this refreshed Puerto Rican soil adds. It is unlike any other wrapper leaf we have tasted…boasting a rich medium tone with a nice accent of spice.

The fill was created specifically to show off this wrapper. It is a five leaf fill boasting three ligero leaves from three different countries - another wondrous aspect to this cigar. One would normally expect a super-spicy, stomach churning smoke with so much ligero…but the NewYorican smokes easy and is rather creamy/leathery on the palette. It is strength tempered with mellow earthiness.

This is not a super spicy blend at all, but it will sit you down in a chair the way our full bodied blends are known to do. We reccomend you elect a designated driver when you smoke this blend out and about!
